The Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle has a fascinating history dating back to the 1980s when it was developed by The Guide Dog Association in Australia as a specially bred, asthma, and allergy-friendly service dog.

The founders, Tegan Park and Rutland Manor, played a crucial role in infusing other breeds into their early generation lines of Labrador retriever and poodle crosses. This careful mixing aimed to achieve consistent temperament and coat qualities.

The breeds introduced into the mix include the Irish water spaniel, curly coat retriever, as well as the American and English cocker spaniel. This diverse genetic heritage resulted in a remarkable blend of desirable traits, including the curly and non-shedding coat of the Poodle, the gentle and intelligent nature of the Labrador Retriever, and the agility of the Spaniels.

It's worth noting that all of our dogs can trace their lineage back to the two original breeders in Australia. This heritage ensures that our beloved Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles continue to exhibit the wonderful traits that make them cherished companions.

These enchanting dogs are renowned for their versatility and adaptability. Whether it's serving as a loving family pet, an intuitive therapy dog, an obedient assistance dog, or even a skilled search and rescue dog, the Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle excels in various roles with unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm.

Apart from their delightful personality, Australian Labradoodles are highly intelligent and trainable. This makes them a joy to work with during obedience training and allows them to quickly learn and respond to commands, making them ideal companions for families, including those with children.

Due to their hypoallergenic and low-shedding coat, Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles have become a top choice for individuals with allergies.
